Once you receive your Sony Bank WALLET, you can use it to deposit Japanese Yen into your account.
Making a deposit by fund transfer from other financial institutions
You can make a deposit into your Sony Bank account by making a fund transfer from other financial institutions. When making a fund transfer, you will need to provide the following information in Japanese. For the branch name, you will need to enter either kanji or katakana.

Account number | 7-digit number that follows the branch number (001) on the front or back of your cash card. |
Beneficiary name in katakana | Your name in katakana as registered with Sony Bank. |
If you wish to transfer funds from other financial institutions in Japan to Sony Bank, you might be charged a transfer fee by the remitting bank.
If you wish to make a fund transfer of 100,000 yen or more in cash, you will be asked to present your ID in a bank branch. Please also note that you will not be able to make a fund transfer of 100,000 yen or more in cash via ATMs.
Making a deposit via partner ATMs
You can use your Sony Bank WALLET to make a deposit into your account via our partner ATMs in Japan.
Please note that foreign currencies cannot be deposited using ATMs.
