As of January 27, 2024 (Sat), several emails pretending to be from Sony Bank have been sent to an unspecified number of customers. If you click on the links in the emails, you will be directed to a phishing site that pretends to be the Sony Bank website and will be asked to enter important personal information.

Warning to our customers
  • Domain name of the official Sony Bank sign-in page is o2o.moneykit.net/****. Please check the URL.
  • Never enter the full 10-digit serial number on the back of your cash card.
  • Sony Bank will not ask you to enter an authentication code for any purpose other than registering to use the Sony Bank App (available in Japanese only).
  • Do not copy the authentication URL in the SMS to the transaction screen.

If you have accessed the URL provided in the email or SMS and entered important information on a suspicious site, please contact our English help desk as soon as possible to prevent any fraudulent withdrawals from your account.
