Please be advised that Sony Bank will implement an AI translation system on its website, effective in late March, and will discontinue its English online banking.
The detailed schedule will be announced as soon as it is finalized.
Implementation of an AI Translation System on Sony Bank Website
In order to provide up-to-date information in English and meet the diverse needs of our customers, we will implement an AI translation system on the Sony Bank website in late March 2026.

Discontinuation of Sony Bank English online banking
Due to the implementation of the AI translation system to Sony Bank website, we will discontinue our English online banking, effective in late March 2026.
All Sony Bank account holders are able to continue using their current Sony Bank accounts for transactions without taking any additional specific procedures.
All the current English pages of the Sony Bank website will be discontinued. If you have added the current English website URLs to your Favorites or Bookmarks bar, please update them with the new URL after the implementation of the AI translation system.

- Regarding emails and postal mail sent from Sony Bank

Emails and postal mail regarding products and services available via our English online banking are currently provided in English. After the implementation of the AI translation system, all these communications will be provided in Japanese only (with some exceptions).
Emails are currently sent to customers from Sony Bank only related to English online banking products and services. However, after the implementation of the AI translation system, this will no longer be the case. There will be no limitations, therefore the volume of emails received will increase.
If you do not wish to receive emails, please update your settings via “Notification Settings”. - Regarding inquiries in English
- Inquiries in English will remain available via chat or email at our English help desk. Please note that the English support is limited to certain products and services.
