- Customers who opened Sony Bank accounts on or after December 1, 2023 (Fri).

- Foreign currency deposits (the balance of Foreign currency savings accounts converted to Yen).
- Eligibility Criteria

Customers who meet all of the following criteria:
- Complete a new account opening (Yen savings account).
- Have a Foreign currency deposits balance of 100,000 yen or more as of 11:59 PM on the last day of the second month following the month in which the account was opened.
Confirmation Method:
For account opening, an email will be sent to your registered email address after the procedure is completed.
Subject: [Sony Bank] Notification: Account Opening Procedure has been completed- The rate used for Yen conversion is the TTB rate as of 12:00 AM on the last day of the second month following the month in which the account was opened. If the last day of the month falls on a Sunday or Monday, the rate will be calculated based on the rate on the preceding Saturday. The TTB rate will be calculated using the standard exchange fee regardless of your Club S level.
- Deposit by Incoming foreign currency remittances to Sony Bank are subject to verification. Please note that if the verification process takes a long time, the funds may not be deposited by the assessment date.

Foreign Currency Deposits Balance Cash Reward Amount 100,000 yen or more 1,000 yen 1,000,000 yen or more 2,000 yen Example: If your account is opened by December 31, 2023, your Foreign currency deposits balance as of February 29, 2024 at 11:59 PM will be converted into Yen at the TTB rate as of February 29, 2024 at 12:00 AM, and you will earn 1,000 yen if the converted amount of your Foreign currency deposits balance is 100,000 yen or more, and 2,000 yen if it is 1,000,000 yen or more.
- Cash Reward Payment Timing and Method

The reward will be credited into the Sony Bank Yen savings account of eligible customers in accordance with the following schedule.
Account Opening Month Cash Reward Payment Timing January to March Late June April to June Late September July to September Late December October to December Late March An email notification will be sent to eligible customers in advance of the cash reward payment. Please note that the email may not be delivered due to issues with your email address or email provider.
