Required Information for Receiving Incoming Foreign Currency Remittances
Important Matters Concerning Foreign Currency Deposits
The following information is required when remitting foreign currency to Sony Bank.
Please note that any omissions or errors may delay the remittance or result in the funds being returned to the remitting bank.

| Intermediary Bank | In order to receive foreign currency remittances to your Sony Bank account, the remitter must specify one of the following intermediary banks, depending on the currency of the remitting bank. If the remittance form does not include an intermediary bank section, please inform the remitter that they must include the intermediary bank name in the additional notes section. This is not required for foreign currency remittances between Sony Bank accounts. |

When foreign currency funds are remitted from overseas, they might be exchanged into another currency at the discretion of the banks involved in the remittance (intermediary banks).
To reduce this possibility, ask the remitter to write "Do not convert" or "No Exchange" in the additional notes/free comment section. Please note that Sony Bank cannot guarantee that the foreign currency remittance will arrive in the currency that was remitted.
