5. Measures for Managing the Security of Personal Data
We take strict security measures to protect personal information we collect and maintain by applying the Sony Financial Group's common policy (this includes the Sony Group's common policy), which has been established based on industry standards and best practices such as the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001 standards and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) SP800 series.
These measures include implementation and periodic review of organizational information security management, periodic education and training for employees, periodic inventory of information assets, implementation of physical security control measures (e.g., employee entry/exit control, terminal management), encryption of communications, strict access control, periodic vulnerability management for information systems, etc.

In order to resume transactions during such suspension period, the customer needs to contact the Company and follow the prescribed procedures.

1.Applications for Transfer ("Transfer Application") shall be handled in the following manner:

(2)The Company will accept a Transfer Application based on the information the customer entered on a Terminal, etc. Any Transfer Application which instructs the Transfer to be processed on the date of the Application shall be handled as a Transfer Application, and any Transfer Application which instructs the Transfer to be processed on the day following the date of the Application or any subsequent day shall be handled as an application for scheduled transfer. Furthermore, a transfer instruction date can be set until the last day of the following month from the application date. Note that if the beneficiary account is set up with other financial institutions, the transfer instruction date is limited to the business days of the financial institution.
(3)The Customer may request regular scheduled date and fixed amount fund transfers ("Regular Scheduled Date Transfer" or "Omakase Furikomi") to the financial institution of the pre-registered fund transfer beneficiary. The Customer can register, change, pause, resume, or cancel in accordance with the procedures prescribed by the Company. The Company will automatically process the Regular Scheduled Date Transfer as a periodic action set by the Customer. If the set date by the Customer does not exist in the month, the Regular Scheduled Date Transfer will be actioned on the last business day of the month (if the beneficiary account is at another financial institution). Also, if the set date does not fall under the business day of the month for the beneficiary financial institution, the Regular Scheduled Date Transfer will be actioned on the business day prior to or after the specified date set by the Customer.

1.The customer who intends to use the Service must complete the Pre-Registration process for each recipient in advance, from a computer terminal, etc. Note that Pre-Registration process is not required for Foreign Currency Fund Transfers Between Sony Bank Accounts.

3.Once the Pre-Registration is completed by the customer, the Company checks the content pursuant to the applicable foreign exchange laws and regulations, the Act on Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds, etc. through the review process prescribed by the Company. In addition, the Company may contact the customer to verify the content of the Pre-Registration. Depending on the result of such review process, the Company may refuse the registration or request the customer to modify its content, at the Company's sole discretion. In this connection, if the Company contacts the customer for verification purposes but the customer fails to provide a response within a reasonable period of time, provides an inappropriate response, or refuses to modify the Pre-Registered content as requested by the Company, the Company will refuse the registration. In this case, the Company shall not be liable for any damage that the customer may suffer as a result of the denial.

Depending on the result of such review process, the Company may refuse the registration or have the customer modify its content, at the Company’s sole discretion. In this connection, if the Company contacts the customer for verification purposes but the customer fails to provide a response within a reasonable period of time, provides an inappropriate response, or refuses to modify the Pre-Registered content as requested by the Company, the Company will refuse the registration. In this case, the Company shall not be liable for any damage that the customer may suffer as a result of the denial.
